Case Studies

Read some specific examples of how our team of Essential Personal Assistants have helped and delighted our clients.

A four year Maternity Cover

A London based company recognised that they were going to need help as their Office Manager was heading off to have her first baby.

Reached out for recommendations

The COO reached out to his network for recommended "Digital PAs" and we came high up the list - whoop!

We were interviewed 3 times!

Having drawn up a job description for the role - diaries, travel, document preparation and assisting the executive team - we attended 3 online interviews.

We were then scrutinised

Our terms of business and other policy documents were sent for examination by their legal team and we were taken on board. Happy days.

Systems were set up

Online systems were set up - Office 365 and Zoom to start with. We now work with Box, Slack and more! We also hold regular performance reviews.

"We wondered if you could also provide an assistant for our HR Manager?"

The office manager came back but...

We were asked to stay on in our role as the returnee went back on her second maternity leave!

HR Assistant

An existing client reached out to us for additional support for their HR Leader.

Essential PA was already a known and trusted provider

We introduced an Essential PA HR Assistant

Systems were set up

We were given a detailed task list for an HR assistant. All tasks are repeating tasks which follow set procedures within HR software.

We provided a candidate profile document and set up an online introduction and interview meeting.

Secure online systems were set up to enable us to provide remote HR assistance.

Personal Assistant for Business Coach

A time-starved business coach reached out for business management and personal assistance after realising he shouldn't be working to clear paperwork on a Saturday!

Reached out to his network looking for introductions to known and trusted virtual assistants.

We "pitched" a 'Weekends For Sale' sale board which landed us the role - hooray.

13 years later....

This particular coach was drowning in non core tasks - tasks which don't make revenue - and working weekends to shift the load before heading back out on the road on Monday morning.

Unusually, we whizzed out to meet the potential new client face to face.  We invested time and mileage in order to gain the new business - this was long before Zoom was all the rage.

All business operations are taken care of by Essential PA - income and expenses, new business enquiries, customer success, diary coordination, suppliers and travel.
