We work together 5 days a week but rarely ever meet face to face.
The perfect virtual business manager/client relationships
This is one fave client I rarely meet up with – because we really don’t need to. We’re based at least 300 miles apart but if we can grab the chance of a working lunch or a supper catch up we will.
The day didn’t start brilliantly yesterday with a derailment on the main London – South West train line. But we kept an eye on the departure/arrivals boards and switched tickets around.
We really could not remember when we had last met face to face but decided it was some time in early 2016. What did it matter. It’s just like meeting up with a friend you rarely see but your conversation picks up just where you left off.
We talked about his business, which he would tell you we run together – plans and ambitions for 2017/18, the sales pipeline, financial management, branding, IP, the people we work with (and help), cute new biz ideas – all this peppered with big laughs about recent encounters, holidays, nuptials (his) and a mad expedition to Oman with www.7explorers.com.
