| Make Your Business Card Work Hard |

Please make your
business card work hard...
We are frequently asked to compile
databases for clients using the business cards they have carefully collected at
networking events and seminars. Business cards are gold dust if you use them
effectively so please design them for maximum effect! Make your card really
stand out from the pack. Tiny typefaces are terrible! Include your name and
business name, your essential contact details and tell people what you can do
for them. The best tip we received recently was to put your photo on one side
of your card which might make you even more
memorable.
How to save some time and
money....
We have a client who is a
consultant who bills his time at many £s per hour. Should he be spending two
hours reformatting his presentation document that is required for an important
meeting next week? It makes good business sense to delegate this task to a
virtual assistant because two hours of her time could save a consultant hundreds
of pounds. His time and your time are expensive. A good assistant usually
knows her way around presentation software and can do the job very, very
quickly. Similarly, virtual assistants can turn notes from meetings into
minutes for circulation and rough sketches into professional diagrams and
charts.
We really do
try to save you money!
What is a virtual
assistant? Do they really exist?
A virtual assistant
(typically abbreviated to VA) is a business owner who provides professional
administrative, technical or creative assistance to clients from their own
office. Most VA's have many years experience as senior level PA's, office
managers and executive assistants.
Their clients are usually
small and medium sized businesses, consultants and entrepreneurs.
The VA uses today's
technology to move work around through the internet and email, web based
diaries, online conference and meeting facilities and the postal
service.

good VA and how to outsource for maximum benefit next

business won it's major award!) and we were bowled over by the quality and
uniqueness of their skincare products. Tracy Craze is South Devon's Temple Spa
